About our Pony Mornings

A children’s pony morning consists of all aspects of looking after horses such as practicing tacking up, grooming a horse or pony, mucking out, and participating in feeding the horses. The pony morning also includes a half-hour lesson or half-hour walkout, either of which can be chosen at the time of booking. Riding hats are available to borrow.

There are a limited number of places on each pony morning to ensure the quality of tuition and sufficient attention for each participant. Our Pony Mornings are strictly fully supervised at all times.

Pony mornings are for children from the age of 8 upwards. They are held all year round and last 2 hours, typically between 9:30 to 11:30.

We advise that the Children come wearing clothes which won’t matter if they get dirty or smelly. Also, appropriate footwear is needed such as wellies. A snack with a drink is also advised for when the children have a break.
